Greetings to all my readers and music fans. Today we welcome to our blog US artist War Gods of the Deep. This artist has released an album called “Action Space Battle (redux)”,

On 17th January. This album was originally released in 2019 and has been re-released for the adoring public. The album has a total of 10 songs, let me tell you more about it

The first song on this album is called “Transmission”. The intro of this song amazingly energetic guitar riff. The song describes a character who is in trouble and needs to be rescued so he tries to contact the heroes and though They haven’t answered he still continues to try and reach them(” Heroes can you hear me? Heroes are you there?”). In his desperation he asks the heroes a rhetorical question, asking them if they care(” Heroes do you care”) and tries to survive . The guitar sound in the song is bursting out with life and the lines sung in the beginning echo a little to imitate the feedback you hear on a walkie-talkie. The song welcomes listeners to this amazing collection of songs

Next is the song “Sons of the Serpent”. The intro of the song is a fusion of heavy drum and guitar sounds. The song is structured like a villain who is delivering his monologue and warning their target that they will soon get their vengeance (”the sons of the serpent they will come for you”). The song is fast-paced but the song doesn’t overwhelm you with all its moving parts and the guitar solo is something that you will really appreciate

“Life coach” is the title of the song. The song has a very vibrant intro. The song describes an unarmed character whose life coach is cheering on(”its time once again to inspire and remind”). This life coach takes his job very seriously and is determined to do right by his client(” As your life coach it’s my job to do what’s best for you”) and boost his client’s confidence and self-love. The song describes the very nature and importance of loyalty and having a strong support system. The song is a song you can bang your head to and rock out alone or with friends

Next is the song titled “Beautiful Oblivion” The intro is a heavy drum and guitar foundation. The song talks about a dark place (”beautiful oblivion”) and the character in the song tells you to just submit because you have no other choice(”resistance is in vain”). The song carries all the markers of a perfect rock song, that electric guitar sounds and that moment in the song when you think it has ended but comes back with full force will captivate you

The next song is called “The Machine”. The song starts with high-energy guitar sounds which pipe down a little so you can hear the song more clearly. The song states that everything has its season (” There’s a time for everything”). There is an electric guitar solo in this song that will leave you speechless. This song is the epitome of precision and greatness

“Done” is the title of the next. The song displays some synth sounds before The heavy metal sounds sink in. The persona in the song is cocky as he speaks to the object of his affection” I know you like what you’re seeing”). The song is fast-paced but you’re still able to enjoy every aspect of the song. Hearing this song live will be so amazing

“Light of Your Soul is the next song. The intro of this song is a solid drum thrum mixed together with lively guitar notes the song I think represents how scary opening your eyes is and how long that darkness feels. The song talks about how you feel if you are not alive anymore (” When you close your eyes it can feel forever”). The song reiterates that we make our own afterlife (”heaven is wherever you choose to plant the light of your soul”)The song is yet another song that is rock-infused and has a mind-shattering electric guitar solo that makes for a unique sonic experience

Next is the song” Burn the Misery”. The song starts these feedback noises you hear when you want to listen to a particular station, in this case, the film’s name is WGOTD, next, we hear a radio program that plays and appreciates rock music, and the host mentions the artist’s name, and the title of the song about to be played. The radio host had asked his audience if they loved rock love songs before playing the song and he was right, the song describes a man who has caught feelings for another person and compliments them(” you got a smile like a melody”). He is so in love that he’s ready to drive all night so long as he’s with her nothing matters. The song is unique in every way and you will fall in love with the sweet message in the song and also the instrumentation (electric guitar solo)

Next is the song called “One of Us”. The song begins with a very catchy melody even before the vocal performance starts. The song is about a persona who won’t let up (”till one of us dies”), he’s strong-headed and is ready to fight till the very end. The song talks about standing firm and the importance of survival. The song is intense and passionate and will captivate you with its numerous charms, not excluding that earth-shattering electric guitar solo

The last song on the album is called “Horizon”. The song pops off with these brief synth sounds before it goes full metal again. The song describes a ship where the captain tells his crew and passengers not to give up because he can see the shore(”I can see that shoreline just beyond the horizon”). He asks them to hold on and not give up as they had sailed through storms and escaped sirens and had lost a few men on their journey but they were almost there. The song has a captivating story and shows the importance of leadership and lifting the spirits of the people you lead. The song ends the musical journey we’ve been on with an exciting flourish

I’m not surprised by the re-release of this album, it is a great collection of songs with excellent lyrics and fascinating stories. War Gods of the Deep is a musical genius, he listens to his fans which is the feedback most artists strive for and it’s this good feedback he got that earned him all the accolades and made him re-release this album.
