Greetings dearest readers and music lovers let’s welcome Canadian artist Reset Ryan Tram. On 15th November Tram released a ten-song album called “Digital voyage vol 1” The story of being separated from your significant other in a fanciful digital world is presented in Digital Voyage. It centers on the relationship between Blue and Red. However, Red finds themselves in a new digital universe after a struggle between the two. The album discusses the emotions the couple may have when separated in unfamiliar places, like delight from leading a colorful life, pain from missing one another, and independence from one another. Themes of a digital self and what it means to be human yet confined in a virtual environment are hinted at. Let’s talk more about the album

The first song on the album is called “Elevate”. The song opens with this cosmic sound and then a robot counting down from ten. The sound then morphs into a synth-pop sound and then has these other mouth percussion sounds sown into this song seems to be the opening sequence for the story being told on the album. The sound is very unique and avant grande and it welcomes you to the album

Next up is the song “Anew”. The track opens with static-like sounds and then you hear the electronica sound filtering into the song. The song keeps you on your toes the whole time you are listening you hear the fusion of sounds you’ve never heard before and it is so outstanding

“Past the Sun” is the next song on the album. The song starts with these sounds that seem like rain sounds. This song is about how the characters are doing in a different world and how they are concerned about how they will survive. The solo was so good that I thought I was at a rave

“Above” is the next song. The song starts with these dramatic sounds that are very calming and ethereal. This is yet another song telling the story the album is about. In this track, the male character (blue)is missing his partner (red) and is wondering when he might see her again

“Human” is the title of the next song on this record. The intro is a synth sound that is popping off so magically. The song hints at how humans interact with each other in these technological times where everything is digital

Next is the song “We Are What We Do”. The intro of this song has some nice sounds. In the song, our characters are having a little moment. Blue wishes he could read Red’s mind because he loves her. Red also tells Blue how much he misses her. The performances are so touching and beautiful. This song will make you fall in love with these fictional people and that is a great quality this song possesses

Next up is the song “Breeze”. The opening of this song is beautiful and has a lot of flair even before the beat gets thumping. The song switches to a different vibe with Tram playing around with various sounds to see if it fits and it really does. You hardly hear songs with this sound and how it’s all blending in together is just so incredible

“Plan to Be” is the next song on this record. The intro of the song is very unique and beautiful. The tempo of the song changes and takes you deeper into the music as the characters talk about the people he and his lover plan to be

Next up is “Next May”. The song goes straight into the vocal performance. Blue sings about how he misses Red. Blue talks about how he remembers her smile and how he felt. The vocal performance is incredibly moving and lets you feel the emotion that the lyrics portray and takes listeners on an emotional roller coaster

The last song on this record is called “Painted Sky”. The song starts with this bright and cheery sound. Though it is laced with static and mouth percussions it remains bright and bold. The sound shifts to just static and it is awesome, it makes you feel like you’re traveling to space. This masterpiece ends the album

This album is a diamond in the rough and a truly rare gem. Never have I ever heard this fusion of sounds. Most people try and they fail spectacularly but Tram has succeeded. He knocked this one out of the park and I can’t wait to hear more music from him
