Greetings dearest gentle reader and music lovers lets welcome Solar Soundz to our digital space. Famous hip-hop producer Solar Soundz on 8th August, released an explosive new EP, titled “Summer of Sam 24”. The EP takes listeners on an exciting voyage through the eerie, horror-inspired soundscapes of hip-hop. This 8-song EP is expected to have a significant impact on the music industry by fusing trap rap, drill, and old-school boom bap into a seamless and captivating whole. Let’s talk more about the EP

The first song on this EP is called “Feet Deep”, which features Jarren Benton. The opening is a very eerie and haunting sound. The song introduces this persona who is very good at what he does and brags about. He goes on to say that he has targeted the higher-ups in his career and will seize their power(” I’m coming for the bosses”). These boss and threats don’t seem so bad until he calls himself a psycho and will come for anyone who crosses his path. The rap is very good and as he delivers bar after bar you can’t help but want to be his hype man when you’re listening to the song. The song is the perfect opener for the EP

Next is the song “Who is Sam”. The song has very nice synth sounds in the beginning. The rest of the song is a conversation where a person is asking who Sam is

“Death and Disaster is the next song which features artists Young Buck and Bishop Lamont. The song starts with something that first sounds like synth sounds till a beat is added to the song describes a neighborhood where violence is prevalent (”it look like that it might be that moment, death and disaster is upon us”). The song also talks about how death by gun violence is common in certain neighborhoods

Next is the song “SOS”, this song features artists Big Twins and Legs MC. The song opens with some slow piano sounds that are very delightful. The song is a very nice rap but in the middle of the song there is a 911 call where the victim says she’s been kidnapped before another wild and entertaining rap that will take you on an exciting trip

“Bury your bones” is the next song which features the artist iNTeLL. The song starts with a couple of shoutouts to some people and a very nice announcement of Solar Soundz’ tagline. The character in the song announces that he is a mystery like Sherlock (”Sherlock Holmes, botch Imma bury your bones”). The lyrics and the beat are very catchy and will get you singing along

“No Reason” is the song that follows this song, featuring Kool G Rap. The song has a short intro before the rap begins. The song is exciting and you will be astounded at the punchlines and rap verses that you are listening to. The song creates an amazing vibe and will take you on a thrilling musical adventure

The next song is called “Last Man Standing” and it features Ren da Heatmonsta. The song describes a persona who is telling his opps that whatever they do him he is not going to budge and neither is he going to fall(”after the smoke, I’m standing tall”). He describes his bravery in the most unique way that will captivate listeners from start to finish

The last song on the EP is “Vacation”, a song featuring Canibus. The intro of the song can only be described as a triumphant and bold sound. The character in the song has kicked a hornet’s nest and is not afraid of the consequences because he is going on vacation (” What are the implications we going on vacation”). This incredible song brings the EP to an amazing end

This EP is an amazing collection of songs. The artists he featured on this EP took the songs to another level and made them even more awesome. Solar Soundz has made the music he should be extremely proud of because they are nothing short of fantastic. He is an amazing artist and I can’t wait to hear more from him
