Greetings dearest gentle readers let’s welcome back to our blog UK artist Shaun Lewis. Lewis is a brilliant songwriter who just started releasing his music. Lewis has released the third part of his EP trilogy doing So by releasing his songs in three different EPs. On 23rd August he released the third EP, titled “SL EP-3” Let’s talk more about this 4 song EP

“Sister Flower” is the big opening number for the EP. The song opens with a wild static-like song and then the electric guitar starts. When a drum beat is added you feel euphoric instantly. The song is about a character who is strongly trying to convince a romantic prospect that they are fated to be together”(We are meant to be together”). This song was an amazing start to this EP and it’ll leave you wanting more and waiting to hear the rest of the songs

The next song is “Death in the Dark”. The intro is very menacing and dark-coded. The character in the song has realized how things work and is not happy about it at all(“There’s been a lot of things going on”). This character knows there is room for improvement and seeks help from others to build something functional. The guitar work on this song is just marvelous and the vocal performances are incredibly good. This song will really get your body and your heart jumping to the infectious rhythm and harmony of the song

“Last Night at Midnight” is the next song on the EP. The opening of the song is very energetic and it is very foot-tapping. The song mentions a persona who has met a lady who has been taught the right way to live on the edge by a mysterious woman (“This is what it means to be free”). Now this song will have an extra kick when performed live due to the vocal performance and the instrumentation

The last song on the EP is titled “I Want You”. This song is a bit on the slower side right from the start and although the tempo picks up later, the song’s quality does not diminish. The song is about a persona declaring his love to a person he’s deeply in love with (”I want you”). This curtain call song will go down in history as the most legendary song ever made

Shaun came back packing an even bigger punch with this third EP. He should have been making music long ago because of how talented and intentional he is with his lyrics, vocals, and instrumentation. He is very talented and he will rise above everyone in the industry
