Greetings lovely readers and music lovers and welcome to our blog. Today we highlight the Talents of a US artist called SimplyRich. This brilliant artist has released a 7-song EP called “Thirsting Again”. The EP consists of songs that discuss Love, heartbreak, sex, trauma, and humor and the notion that nothing in life exists in isolation. SimplyRich uses a journal-like approach to songwriting to share his truths, experiences, and interests in the most real method for him: music. Let me tell you more about the album.

The album’s title track is called “BAG(intro)”. Right when the song starts you are met with this thumping beat before SimplyRich starts his rap performance. The song describes this cocky and confident person who is listing his lover’s attributes (”I keep my eyes on the prize”)and mentions the various ways he finds her sexy and the many ways he wants to be intimate with her. This song is exciting with its racy lyrics and foot-tapping beat and welcomes you to the EP

Next is the song called “I Didn’t Know She Had a Man”. The song starts right away with SimplyRich’s beautiful voice. The song is about a person who has fallen in love with a lovely lady who is great at chilling and is even cooling with smoking a joint(”I just want to feel your vibe”). Unfortunately for our character, this lady is in another relationship which he didn’t know about(”I didn’t know she had a man, no no, I didn’t know she has a man goddamn, goddamn”). The woman then sends him a lengthy text explaining that she is in a relationship. Despite this revelation, he decides to be a friend to her, a friend whose shoulder she can cry on. This is a beautiful R&B song with different sounds that elevate the storytelling in the song. What you get is this amazing song that will thrill you sonically

“Curiosity” is the title of the next song. This song displays the vocal prowess of the artist as he sings in a falsetto about how he wants to get to know his lover very well(”I just want to know you through and through). He admits that he is curious about her but not in a malicious or creepy way but just wants to know everything about her(”curiosity, I want to know you”). The falsetto was a brilliant tactic that gives song a certain “je ne sais quoi”

The song that follows is “White Toes”. The song is about a character who has fallen in love with a woman who paints her toes white(”whites toes painted”). The song describes her other attributes and the character describes that he initially thought it was just about sex but after they had relations he found himself still yearning for her. The rap in the song is witty, beautiful, and exciting. The song creates an exciting beat and will take you on a wondrous musical journey

“Drought” is the name of the next song The song’s intro is a vibrant beat mixed with what seems to be audio cuts of different news anchors all talking about droughts. In the song, the persona likens his relationship with his ex to a drought(”l knew you’ll come around”). He goes on to talk about how we complain when there is drought and how we beg the rain to go away when it rains. This is a metaphor for their relationship and how being fed up about the situation he leaves her(”I’m already gone”). The song is lovely and its lyrics give you a clear mental picture of their broken relationship. The song ends with the sounds of rain mixed with the sounds of anchors announcing the end of the drought giving listeners an all-immersive sonic experience

The song that follows is “Pool Party”. The song has this snazzy and synth sounds laced with a groovy beat. The song is a jumping song that talks about a summer pool party where there are drinks, and pretty girls in bikinis, dancing and shaking their bare behinds. (”summer song, we at the pool party”). The song has different dimensions of sounds and vocals making a unique and distinct sound

The last song on the album is called “Need+Want”. The song opens with a beautiful bass line before the sound builds and SimplyRich begins the vocal performance. The character in the song is completely enchanted by this woman and assures her that if given the chance he will be anything she ever imagines(”I can I be the one you need, be the one you need and want”). We come to know through the lyrics that he is not only in love with her but promises to show her a good time because he finds her hot and sexy. The song is very versatile and switches between rapping and vocals and is definitely a standout in this album. This wonderful song ends this remarkable album

The album is a collection of songs that are very unique. Each song has a unique storyline or message and can stand out on its own. Imagine each song packing serious heat and together, they are an unstoppable force. SimplyRich is extremely talented and will dominate the music scene
