Keith Lee, a popular TikTok food critic, travelled to Atlanta for the ONE Music Fest and made use of the opportunity to try various restaurants in the metro Atlanta area. He has more than 14 million TikTok followers, but to put it mildly, his experience in the space has been uneven. Due to his negative ratings of specific restaurants and his “exposure” of certain practises that are typical of Atlanta restaurants, Lee has generated controversy. Lee has experienced issues with many restaurants’ customer service, including with their refusal to accept phone or takeaway orders.

The Real Milk and Honey in College Park was the subject of his most contentious review. According to Lee, his family was denied entry when they attempted to place an order because the establishment was undergoing “deep cleaning.” But the restaurant doors were ajar, and customers were placing orders. Lee claimed that he left the restaurant because of the subpar service after a waitress noticed him and tried to serve him. On TikTok, the review has received about 2 million likes and over 17,000 comments, one of which is from the Detroit Lions.

Later, in a video that was uploaded to the restaurant’s TikTok, the proprietor of Real Milk and Honey claimed not to know who Keith Lee was. Lee had more encounters with what he considered subpar customer service in Atlanta. The Atlanta Breakfast Club was also criticised by Lee for only providing food for full parties.

However, Lee didn’t criticise every eatery he visited in the metro Atlanta area. Highlights, according to him, were Juci Jerk in Stone Mountain, The Dining Experience in Fairburn, and Jamaican Jerk Biz in Mableton.
