RAY JOHNSON PLEADS WITH HIS LOVER TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO LOVE HER IN HIS NEW SONG “HALF A CHANCE”

No Comments Review

Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers let’s welcome Ray Johnson to our blog. Ray Johnson, a gifted musician from Saint Charles, Missouri, has encapsulated the sound of jangly 1960s pop and 70s singer/songwriters in his songs. On August 30, 2024, he released a track titled “Half A Chance”. Let’s talk more about this song

The intro of this song is these gentle guitar and drum beats that are very mesmerizing and will capture your attention immediately

This track is about a person who is in a relationship and trying to make his partner feel at ease and know that he is there for her(“Not ashamed to show I care”). The persona also tells his partner that he sees her, that he sees her, even when she’s trying to distance herself from him (“every time I look at you, I see what you don’t want me to see”), all he is asking her for is just half a chance which he will not take lightly. This is a strong sentiment because most people in relationships tend to take their partners for granted and the partner in question feels invisible which is very painful

The song, which was recorded independently in his home studio, stands out thanks to its unique acoustic/rock feel and bluesy backbeat. On “Half A Chance”, Ray partners with Dave Bieritz and promises to take listeners on a poignant journey through Ray’s world of acoustic pop/rock and passionate ballads with its heartfelt lyrics and flawless musicianship.

Ray, has experience in both TV and cinema and is hopeful that he would create waves in the music industry with his nostalgic yet upbeat style. I can proudly say that his hope has come to pass, excelling and superseding his expectations. His song is genuine and heartwarming and will make you fall in love with the sound. Ray is very talented and I can’t wait to hear more music from his camp
