Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers. Today we highlight the work of the band Noiz Ritual. Greek alternative rock/metallers Noiz Ritual have released a new music video for the single “I Wanna Know,” which is the lead single from their debut EP “Embrace The Noiz,” which was independently released in May 2024. On 29th September, the band released a song called “I wanna know” and its accompanying video. Let’s dive in together

The song opens with a very exciting drum beat accompanying an equally exciting guitar riff

“I Wanna Know” is a hilarious thriller that pays homage to the cult b-horror films of the 1980s When the video starts we see someone removing a CD out of the case and seems to be slotting it into a DVD right when the song begins, it cuts to the drummer giving his very best drum sequence and the guitar players. Next, we see the lead singer/character feeding a skeleton something that looks like soup. Next, it cuts to the band and then back to the lead singer/character bringing the skeleton a plate of dessert with a lit candle on top of it. It again cuts to the band then back to the lead singer/character about to brush the skeleton’s teeth. Again it cuts to the band then again to the lead singer/character holding the Skeleton against his body and singing to it.

The rest of the video goes back and forth between the band the lead singer and the skeleton dancing. After some time, the lead singer notices that the skeleton is unresponsive and goes into a fit of rage. Here is the unexpected turn of events in the video, the skeleton seems to reanimate and strangle the lead/character to death, proving that it was conscious all this time but just playing games with the lead singer/ character George Mylonas filmed the video, which was co-directed by him and the band’s guitarist, Nick Christolis, in the “To Pano Spiti Cultural Association” in the center of Athens. Nick Christolis and the band’s drummer, Mantalena Krikelli, wrote the screenplay for this visual and sonic masterpiece

This song and the video were just a tasteful and spooky delight. Each member of the band pulled their weight, displaying their God-given talent. The video was also a visual journey shedding even more light on the theme of the song using illustrious lyrics and images. This band are very talented musicians and I can’t wait to hear more music from them
