NEVA INSIDIOUS PROCESSES HER FEELINGS IN HER ALBUM “CLARITY IN MISERY”

No Comments Review

Greetings dearest gentle readers and music fans let’s welcome American artist Neva insidious. Neva Insidious is an artist who tries every time to put out an album and tries to touch on a different genre with her experimental music. Death Grips, Iamamiwhoami, Primus, and Meshuggah are a few of her favorite artists. She released the eight-song album “Clarity in Misery”, on 4th April. Let’s dive into the details of the album

Up first is “face down”. The song opens with a very snazzy bass and drum beat. The song is a poetic song about avoiding being blamed for something that you know wasn’t your fault and being kicked when you’re already face down(humiliated). The message of the song is profound but the instrumentation makes it easy to listen to. The electric guitar solo was just amazing and awesome to hear

Next is the song “Explore 4”. The song starts with an exciting drum beat. This song is about emancipation and moving forward. The vocals are raw, chaotic, and passionate to hear. The intensity of this song and its instrumentation are incredibly appealing

“Open your mind” is the next song. The song is upbeat right from the start. The electric guitar and bass guitar had a beautiful mashup that is unforgettably beautiful and satisfying to hear

Up next is the song “Avalanche”. When the song starts you hear a sound of rushing wind and then an electric guitar and drum solo. The song talks about how sometimes moves so quickly. That electric guitar sound was amazing to hear. This song will sound absolutely bonkers when it is performed live!

Next up is “My Home Planet Is Far Away”: this song had a very light and charming allure right from the get-go. The song then morphs into a synth-rock vibe. The vocal performance is raw, intense, and gritty as it talks about an extraterrestrial being who is lost in space and longs to be back with their parents. The song has an interesting storyline and exciting instrumentation

“Something I’m not” is the next song, the intro of this song is peppy and cheery and sounds like a song you can blast while dancing on the beach. The song’s subject matter however is explained through a series of sighs by the character in the song who scoffs and sighs and accuses her lover of expecting her to be something else than her regular and real self. In this light-hearted space, listeners can ponder the relationship and its complexities preferably between the characters in the song or in general

“Explore 3” is the next song on the record. This song appears to be the third part of the explorer’s musical story. The song has a retro synth vibe and a very low register of the vocals to match the dramatic and dark vibe of the song

The last song on the album is called “What”. In this concluding song, you hear an upbeat and vibrant instrumentation. To match the rock style of the instrumentation, we get a primal, visceral, and intense vocal performance and with this banger, the album ends

Neva insidious put out two more albums, although she was in a really bad frame of mind when she recorded it. Although it wasn’t her objective, creating this album unintentionally gave her the opportunity to express her innermost ideas and process her feelings. As a result, misery has clarity. Neva Insidious is a dedicated artist and she will go far in her music career
