Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers, let’s give a warm welcome to Milo Kobayashi. Presenting the gifted artist Milo Kobayashi, who is from North Augusta, USA. This artist just released a single on 10th February called “Fly in the Milk” Let’s talk more about the song
The song opens with very glacial and ethereal sounds that are fascinating. For individuals of color, particularly during Black History Month, (“they see me as a threat”) the song offers a therapeutic and intimate record as it explores the political and social climate of America in the wake of the Trump administration. (“I don’t really trust white people”). The character aligns himself with the theme of the song. America has come a long way since slavery but unfortunately, systematic racism still lives. Black people are seen as an anomaly and the artist likens that situation to a fly in milk. Milk is white thus, anything found in it is unacceptable just like black people are still unaccepted
Milo adopted the unusual path of self-mixing and mastering to maintain its authenticity and genuine emotion, which makes the music stand out even though It was recorded in his bedroom as he was getting ready for a move
This is a critical message that we applaud Milo for sharing. This message couldn’t come at a better time. The celebration of dark black men and women winning Grammys to the Super Bowl halftime show by Kendrick Lamar was a celebration of the black community because black people made America what it is now. This song goes up the mantle with the rest of all the achievements and magic of black people. Milo is a superstar and I can’t wait to hear more music from him.
