In the last few years, Netflix and Kevin Hart have developed a profitable and successful partnership. Hart’s upcoming project on the platform, the comedy-heist film Lift, will carry on in this manner. The film, which was originally scheduled for release in August 2023, will now be among the first to come out in 2024.
The main actor on Netflix’s Lift is Kevin Hart. Notably, in January 2021, Kevin Hart secured a deal with Netflix—a deal that was comparable to that of Adam Sandler—to make four films exclusively for the streaming service through his production company, HartBeat
Completing the primary cast are: Gugu Mbatha-Raw in the role of Interpol agent Abby Gladwell. Playing Denton, a master of disguise and Cyrus’s close buddy, is Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil). The wheelwoman for the team, Camila, will be portrayed by Örsula Corberó (Money Heist). As the team’s safecracker, Billy Magnussen (Into the Woods) will perform. Jacob Batalon, who starred in Spider-Man: Homecoming, will portray the enigmatic digital artist N8. Lars Jorgensen, an investment banker, will be portrayed by Jean Reno (Léon: The Professional). Sam Worthington (Avatar) will portray Dennis Huxley, the head of Interpol.
