Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers. Let’s give a warm welcome to US artist Alexa Terrestrial. On 12th December she released a video for her beautiful song “Die Young”. Let’s talk more about the song and video

The song opens with ethereal sounds against a beautiful bass sound. The video on the other hand begins with a short passage about the dangers of medical malpractice and the lives that are lost because of it

There is No sugarcoating in this song and video. The “Die Young” music video explores the dysfunctional healthcare system through a cinematic abstract. She utilized this video to help shed light and tell the tales of other victims so they may receive much-needed attention. They are pleading for assistance, which is readily available. However, the alarming data indicates that the healthcare system is hurting more individuals each year than the disease it is meant to treat. The video then shows different people strutting forward, all of them in scrubs then to an unconscious patient, then back to these doctors just looking at the patient. When they try to help the patient, she gets up and starts running from them. She runs for a while but is then caught by them. They force her down and try to put an oxygen mask on her. The video then cuts to a brook and a doctor receiving a call.

The music pauses for viewers to hear her conversation. She talks about how her work is stressing her and how the patients are difficult to treat. During her conversation, she received another phone call and it was a patient who told her she woke up in the woods. Clearly annoyed, she hangs up and tells the person she was talking to how it was yet another patient asking for help. The video then cuts to these healthcare workers all on the phone while their patient dies slowly in the woods. The video ends with a breakdown of the number of people who died because of neglect.

The video, which was directed by Fernando de la Cruz, tells the tale of a sick, exhausted, fearful, and despondent person who is at the mercy of medical care. Musically,” Die Young” is an Emo Rap song with R&B melodies. The lyrics are direct and incredibly vulnerable.

The truth of the matter is, that healthcare professionals have seen a lot of deaths and misfortunes that have been desensitized to the plea of really sick people who indeed need their help. It is my and the artist’s wish that this song will reopen their eyes and remind them of the oath they took when they were inducted. It is true, that some patients are difficult but it is unfair to those who are really helpless. Alexa shows how she has seen this apathy due to her personal experience but instead of wallowing in it, she has made something special that people will talk about forever. Alexa is a trailblazer and I can’t wait to see more of her work
