Greetings dearest gentle readers and music fans let’s welcome back to our blog Adik Angel. Swiss-born Adik Angel is a renowned composer and artist, she draws inspiration from a variety of genres, including Pop, Electro, Dance, and Hip Hop, all influenced by basic, genuine melodies and rhythms from the Balkans or the East. I have had the honor to to sample one of her songs called “Up so High” and its accompying video. On 10th August she released a song called “On the Move (remix)”.Allow me to elaborate on the lyrics and music video.

The song opens with these bright and beautiful synth and vocal performance that is extremely foot tapping and it comes as no surprise when the video opens with two shadows, one male, and one female, dancing their hearts out

From the dancing, the video cuts to a man roller skating at a roller skating rink. We then see Adik with her musical instrument smiling and having a good time. In between we see various people sharing their gift of dance which is so captivating to see. Throughout the video we are shown images of some very talented dancers doing what they know best, Adik of course shows off her dancing skills as well, which I have to applaud because she ate that and left no crumbs behind. These dancers are so talented that I wondered why they didn’t represent their nation in the recently ended Olympics in the break dancing category. The rest of the video before the credits roll was various dancing skills, roller skating, what seemed to be a DJ spinning record, and skateboard tricks, and then Adik says farewell to viewers by giving a peace sign. The same describes a character who feels a spark between her and something. (”I feel fire between you and me”)Through the video, it’s obvious that that spark and that fire was embracing, nurturing, and showing off your talent no matter what anybody says. The video was very interesting and captivating because the dancing, vocals, and instrumentation are just ridiculously good

Adik completes her productions from start to finish, which entails creating the arrangements, recording, and mixing, and finishing with the final mastering. It all begins with the melody. Next comes the harmonic composition. Adik also makes videos for some of her songs and such was the case for this very track, in fact, viewers will see her name at the very end of the video

Adik has struck again, unlike lightning that never strikes the same place twice, Adik has returned harder, stronger, and more artistic. The song encourages listeners to never lose their spark which is a noteworthy trait of the song. The video, on the other hand, gives viewers and listeners the chance to see that spark and that fire Adik was singing about, talk about immersive songs and Adik is the to pop up in your head. This song and video cement Adik into the Hall of Fame and I can’t wait to see her next project
