No Comments Review

Greetings dearest readers and music fans worldwide. Let’s welcome Lauri Jarvilehto back to our blog. Lauri Järvilehto is a Finnish musician, philosopher, author, and father of five. He likes to channel his life experiences into his music and did so in his song “Typhoon”, a song about overcoming obstacles. His latest release is called “Hey Kid” which was released on 30th August. Let’s talk more about this song. The song is a blast of energy right out the gate with drums kicking in and fusing with electric guitar riffs

The song is quite personal to Lauri as it was Inspired by some silly things he did when he was younger, it’s a “letter to himself”. In this letter, he tells himself that he has done foolish things and would probably do more because that’s how life goes and we all make mistakes(” Hey kid you’ve done some dumb stuff in life and I bet you’ll go on to do some more”). He then reminds himself that life is precious and sometimes can be cut off so he should not let any opportunity pass him by (” You don’t know what’s left”). The song’s lyrics are relatable, especially in these times when on social media some people are asked to give advice to their younger selves. The song is lively yet incredibly profound and you will be captivated from the beginning to the end

The song has a Bruce Springsteen- feel. In the song, he performs all the instrumentation (piano, guitars, bass, drums, and synths). Near the end of the song, there is an electric guitar solo which I’m sure will leave you speechless and I’m very sure you will feel the same

This is more than just a song, it points out the fact that we are in charge of our lives and our fates. Because of this, the song tells you not to dwell on past mistakes or past follies, instead, it tells you to look ahead, grab every opportunity that comes your way, and try to redeem yourself from your mistakes. Lauri has made a name for himself by teaching valuable life lessons in his songs. Every song he makes has nuggets of wisdom in it and I applaud him for that. He is very talented and is making his way to the top speedily
