This week, Kim Kardashian’s shapewear company announced its entry into the men’s knickers market with a celebrity-studded campaign that included Brazilian soccer player Neymar, point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and defensive lineman Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers.

The new collection from Skims is the company’s first attempt at producing goods for males, a market that the brand has “never had a bigger request than to launch,” as Kardashian stated to GQ. The brand had previously supplied unisex styles through its Boyfriend Collection. Although the unisex products were initially “going to be the start” of her men’s line, she changed her plans after hearing her brother Rob Kardashian’s criticism.

The finished product, which goes on sale on October 26, comes in three fabric-focused collections: Stretch for a lightweight feel, Cotton for everyday use, and Sport for enhanced performance. Prices range from $16 to $54. Sizes XS to 5X are available. As Kardashian revealed to GQ, “experiencing sports with my kids, having it be a part of our daily life with my daughter who loves basketball, my son [who] plays American football and soccer,” was a major inspiration for the latter. “Having some of their idols in the campaign is like a ‘pinch me’ moment,” the celebrity continued.

In the advertisement, Bosa and Neymar put the athletic looks to the test by tossing a football while donning the white Men’s Tank ($88) and the Men’s 3″ Boxer Brief ($20), and kicking a football while wearing the Sport T-Shirt ($44) and Boxer Brief ($24). Some of the warmer styles from Gilgeous-Alexander are featured in his looks, such as the Men’s Sport Legging ($54). The star-studded advertisements are the most recent in Skim’s series of celebrity-filled marketing; Cardi B was featured in the most recent one. Actresses like Kim Cattrall, Heidi Klum, a former Victoria’s Secret Angel, and sports like Alex Morgan have all been photographed in skimpy attire during previous picture shoots.
