Greetings dearest readers and music fans, let’s welcome Soul Provider back to our blog. Nyberg, Kent B. Swedish producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Rox, who founded Pomrox (Power of Music), is passionate about soul music. He has experience with programming, arranging, and sampling for drums, bass, strings, synths, and other musical instruments. Motivated by his passion for soul music, he has had the honor of working with exceptional musicians and vocalists to produce this album, “country dreams” a 16 song album, released on 28th February. Let’s dive in

The title track is named “old friends”. This song’s intro is very much country and exciting. This song is about friendship but not any regular friendship, a friendship where you can talk and catch up no matter the time or the place (“Old friends never really say goodbye”). Musically, the instrumentation really made me feel like line dancing because the music was very groovy especially that small guitar solo mid-song This song is one heck of a way to open this album

“Desert motel” is the second song on the record. This song also has a country rock intro . The song takes listeners along as it tells the story of a character who was taking a drive and decided to have a little rest in a very old motel(“checked in with a rusty key”). The lyrics in the song describe in great detail how old and rusty the motel is. The vocal performance and guitar work (guitar solo)on this song are perfect and listeners will really love it

The third song is called “driving down memory lane”. The song has a beautiful melody in the beginning. The song talks about a persona who is remembering someone she used to love and how everything reminded her of him, how she she is trying to figure out where she belongs because (“stir searching for where I belong”)how she feels lonely The vocals on this song are outstanding and the instrumentation is literally perfect

Up next is “lonely nights”. The song is opened by High energy electric guitar and drum beat. The song illustrates a character who feels extremely lonely and is missing his lived. Now to this character, the nights are even lonelier that day time so he is desperate for the night to be over(“reaching for the morning light”). The song has a very strong sound and instrumentation backing it. The end result is a very compelling and exciting song

Up next is the song “my horse”. The intro is very beautiful and upbeat. The song talks about a loyal horse. Horses are known to be very picky when it comes to riders but, once they bond with you, both of you will be unstoppable and fearless(“Together we know no fear”). The song clearly highlights the usefulness of horses in a very lighthearted and fun way

The next song is called “cowboy’s lament”. The song opens with a country ditty that is very exciting. The song introduces a cowboy. This cowboy describes his woes thoroughly with this song. The vocal performance is top-notch and deserves a round of applause

Up next is the song “night whispers”. This song is a bit on the slower side as compared to the other songs. The song talks about what he does when its night time. The song also talks about being in the dark, a metaphor for being in a bad place. Whether true or not, this song discusses darkness and the night. The instrumentation goes hard especially the guitar solo and it goes hand in hand with the vocal performance

“Sailing into the unknown” is the next song The intro is very dreamy and soft. The song is about a character who likens his relationship to that of a ship on the sea. He assures her that no matter what happens they will brave the storm together. The vocal performance is so angelic and you will be thrilled by this song, its structure (electric guitar solo), and its allure

Up next is the song “”midnight ride”. This song is very upbeat right from the start. The persona in the song convinces his lover to go on a midnight ride together (”lets go”). He gives her the hard sell by telling her all the nights the could see if they went on a ride together. This song breathes new life into the album and recharges the album

Next is “caught in a breeze”. The song is very upbeat and foot-tapping. The song’s main theme is nostalgia, and reminiscing the simpler things and the simpler times when life was great and breezy. We appreciate the band for reminding us about the past so we can move forward in life. The instrumentation is very entertaining and delightful

“Down to Mexico again” is the name g the song that follows. The song opens with a nice electric guitar strum. In this song, we meet a character who decides to go to Mexico to escape the Texas heat, drink, party, and forget all your troubles(”forget about the troubles on my mind”). The description in this song made me really want to go to Mexico and party but no worries because listeners can live vicariously through this song and have as much fun as the character was having in the song

Up next is “moonlit melody”. The song opens with a very gorgeous melody. This country pop sound talks about the hidden beauty of the night, to be one with nature as we observe closely, and how you can use it as a way to escape it or forget about your problems. The guitar solo mid-song is very awesome and this song takes listeners on this magical music adventure

“Alone under the Palmtree” is the what the next song on the album is called. The song has an upbeat intro that is very catchy. The song describes his retreat with his partner. This character describes in great detail how they are spending time together and the sand, the ocean and even the coconut. This song is very detailed and listeners will feel like they are also at a retreat

“Tears falling again” is the song that comes next. This song has this kid tempo intro that is very beautiful. The song talks about the aftermath of a breakup and the complexities of romantic relationships(” tears falling down my face”). This song is a typical country song that talks about the blues. It’s emotive and relatable and that is what makes it stand tall

“Rise up for the earth” is the next song. The song talks about how we need to arise and fight for the earth. It explains the reason for the change in the seasons and the extreme change in the environment which are extremely hot summers and extremely cold winters. The song reminds us that we are custodians of the environment, and we will lose it if we don’t do something. We applaud the group for reminding us how time is ticking by. The electric guitar work was so pristine and amazing and the same goes for the vocal performance

The last song on the album is “Brooken strings”. This song has a mid-tempo vibe from the beginning. The song is about a persona who is missing his lover and how everything reminds him of her. The intricacies of relationships are very hard to navigate and the result can be either good or disastrous. The vocal performance was amazing and it ended the album very gracefully
