Known for his distinctive style, Stefanos Barbalias has released “Lullaby for Two” a harmonious fusion of acoustic folk music and beautifully arranged piano compositions that offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The EP consists of three songs and was released on 9th April. Now let’s talk more about it

The EP’s title track is called “Lullaby for Two”. The song starts with this soulful and beautiful guitar strum. The song talks about a relationship that is weathering a storm of troubles affecting their relationship and the first character tells the other how tired she must be from their relationship(”you must be tired too”). Despite all their struggles this couple takes comfort in little things like how the blanket they use at night smells like both of them. The song lets us know that the place of shelter and comfort for this couple was their inner sanctuary and their bed covered by their blanket as they drifted off to sleep(”dream away “). This song was very heartfelt and beautiful. There was a female vocal in the song and the harmonizing between her and Stefanos was like nothing I’d ever seen or heard and I’m talking about the perfect musical chemistry. This song lets listeners know how the rest of the EP is going to sound and you can’t wait to hear more

Next is the song” Across the Universe”. The song is actually a Beatles cover that starts with very dainty and breathtaking piano notes, notes that are subtle yet bold. The song is about a song about undying love that can travel across the galaxy. The persona is bold in his love affair and says that nothing is going to change the world he has made for himself and his beloved(” Nothing’s gonna change my world”, 3x”). The song is very tender and emotive and you are captivated by the song and the artist did the Beatles very proud with this ridiculously amazing cover

The last song on the EP is called “Cloud Nine”. The song opens with magnificent piano notes that create a lovely melody right from the start. As the song continues you can feel the emotion and passion behind the piano notes. Little by little the song oscillates from high notes to low notes that later soften and build right back up. The song creates a feeling that will last long after the song has ended

This group of songs is very beautiful. I can only explain it by saying that the songs are so beautiful, so heavenly that you feel as if you’ve stepped into heaven itself. This is a feeling you will like to latch on to bring you a certain level of peace and calm your mind.Stefanos will be performing live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on the 19th-25 August and it will be a treat you can’t miss for anything in the world. Stefanos is very talented and he will revolutionize the music industry
