No Comments Review

Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers welcome to our blog. Today we take a look at the work of artist Paul Bibbins. Paul Bibbins is an independent artist from Dallas, Texas, who plays guitar and writes songs. He performs energetic guitar rock ‘n roll in the vein of the great artist Jimi Hendrix. “Disenchantment at a Distance – REDUX” is a nine-song album of original, blazing rock songs that Paul published on November 9, 24. Let’s talk more about this artist

The first song is called “Bold, Beautiful…and Long Gone”. This song uses high-energy instrumentation. The song is a poetic journey about a character who meets a beautiful lady and has a nice talk and stroll together. He tries to start a relationship with this mystery woman but she refuses. Years later he meets her and she doesn’t recognize him and seems like that night they shared had become an afterthought for her. Though he didn’t get the happy ending he was envisioning, he still talked about her beauty and that night they shared. The journey in this song is further enhanced by the instrumentation. There was a guitar solo in there which was an unexpected surprise. This amazing song opens up the album

“Up 25 High “ is the song that follows. This song also has an upbeat intro. The song seems to be talking about how certain people in our lives make us feel like we are on cloud nine. Musically, the instrumentals are very upbeat and foot-tapping. This song use will exhilarate you

Up next is “Disenchanted at a Distance (in need of a good song)”. The beginning of the song follows in the same upbeat vein as the other songs. In the song, the character pledges his loyalty to his lover, telling her that it’s them against the world till the very end. The instrumentation and vocals give the song a rich and full meaning and texture

Next up is “wayward son of the blues”. This song’s intro is very captivating. With its bluesy vibe, Bibbins sings about how he’s been nicknamed “the wayward son of the blues”. The song had the bluesy vibe down and also had a wild rock vibe. A fusion that is unstoppable and beautiful

“Thrill Walk” Is the next song. It begins with a fusion of drum and electric guitar riffs. As the song builds momentum, the instruments relax and open up, in this way, it can change in subtle ways that you might miss and think that the melody stays the same. This song was full of surprises and listeners will love it

“Napoleons wear big hats!” Is the song that follows. Vibrant guitar and drum sounds open up the song. This song talks about politics and how to treat people as though you were in their shoes. Politics and political rights are a bit awkward to talk about but this song does it in a fun and lighthearted way that will make you feel safe enough to talk about it. The guitar solo and the vocal performance were unforgettably awesome

“Woman Across the Garden Wall” is the next song on the record. Colorful instruments are what you hear when the song starts. The character in the song talks about the lengths he went to to make someone become his woman or lover. The vocal performance was perfect and so was the instrumentation (guitar solo)

Next up is “Vista Valley Drift”. Yet again, the song makes use of upbeat instrumentation right from the start. The song switches from electric guitar to drums and rotates round and round again. Each instrument played on the song was given the chance to shine and work together to create a legendary melody

The last song on the album is called “as love rears its pretty little head”. The song opens with vibrant instrumentation. This song talks about love, how love thrives, and the importance of it. This theme is explained through the lyrics and you will have fun with this amazing song with this wonderful song the album ends

The album is an album for the books. It was poetic and fun. It also discusses poignant messages. There was never a dull moment on this album and listeners will have a great time. Paul is a magnificent artist and I can’t wait to hear more music from him
