Greetings dearest gentle reader and music lovers, let’s welcome back to our blog UK-based band Chandra. The Chandra band includes Keith Jones on drums, Chris Wong on bass, Rock Cheung on guitar, and Chandra Nair as the frontman. I’ve had the pleasure of listening to one of their songs “I’ll Be There” which taught me that being kind to people does have an impact. Chandra has evolved as a strong and thrilling pop-rock quartet that portrays complex themes about the human condition, problems with self-belief, and developing the confidence and self-esteem of listeners everywhere. On 19th July the band released a new single called “Lifted”. Let’s dive into the details of the song

The song’s intro is a very bright cheery and lovely guitar strums and then the vocals begin. Rest assured that you’re going to have a wonderful listening trip, best to settle in and strap up for this jolly ride

Lifting is a celebration of that sensation you get when you’re just having a great day. (” Let’s say that things will go your way the sun is rising up so make your hay”) it describes a situation where your train arrives on schedule and you have your preferred seat, When you have the day off and the sun is shining, and when you go to a gig or festival with pals to see your favorite musicians. When you’re having a great day, (”so smile away let’s just assume you’ll have a good day”) and all you want to do is shout it from the rooftops to the entire world, is what the song “Lifted represents. The song also mentions standing hand in hand which is trying to teach listeners the importance of unity or sharing a joyous feeling with people we love or people who are around us. The song’s various themes encourage and spread that blissful feeling.

The song was written by Chandra and was co-produced by Chandra and Elliot Vaughan. The song features these delightful and heavenly mouth percussions which are accompanied by a guitar solo. The song with all these elements and the band playing their role and instruments(Vocal performance included) has struck a perfect balance thereby creating this masterpiece for listeners to enjoy

Lifted means a lot to me and isn’t just lyrics and instruments to me. The song tells listeners that there will always be someone around us who is having a great day of who sees the good in everything. Chandra encourages these people to share that feeling with others so they can also experience that joyous feelings, it also tries to instill optimism in us so that if we don’t know anyone to uplift us we have to try and see life through rose-colored glasses so we can be the one who brightens up someone else’s day. Chandra has managed to spread love and positivity through their music and that is what makes the band so good and their songs so enjoyable. They are on the right track and fast approaching stardom and greatness in the music industry
