Reid appeared in the historical drama film 12 Years a Slave (2013), following a brief role in the television movie A Cross to Bear (2012). Rodney and Robyn Simpson Reid welcomed Reid into the world on July 1, 2003, in Atlanta, Georgia.She is the youngest of four siblings—her brother Josh and her two sisters, Iman and Paris.Reid wanted to be an actress since she was a little child, so when she was nine years old, her family moved to Los Angeles so she could pursue her dream.
