The first song on the EP is Dear Travelers of the Universe”. The song opens with very nice and slow instrumentation. The song is about a character who meets a traveler. He gives the traveler tips on how to navigate where he or her is going(”look up further”). This character then offers to take the traveler on his journey so he won’t be misguided. Cheng sounds so stunning, like an angel floating through the sky. His falsetto and the instrumentation is drop drop-dead gorgeous. This track is the starting point of the other songs on the EP

Next up is the song “Half Blood Angel”. The song has an exciting intro with a very smooth bass. The song is about a person the character has fallen for and he sees this person as an angel and vows to be there for her. Cheng gives an outstanding performance and it will excite you

Next up is the song “in the Wind”. Very downtrodden piano sounds are what you hear when the song starts. In the song, the character is addressing his lover(”must be exhausting shining down”). The address talks about a person who they both know. The song is overly emotive and you will choke on tears by the time the song ends

The last song on the EP is called “Sunburn”. The song opens with slow and tender piano sounds before Cheng starts to sing. The song illustrates a deep love connection (”hurts like a sunburn”)

This song made me finally understand the phrase “I love you so much that it hurts”). What a beautiful imagery and immersive music experience. This beautiful song ends the EP

Cheng has an incredible voice and a mind-blowing falsetto. This EP is the proof of his talent and artistry. This EP was a masterpiece and I can’t wait to hear more glorious songs from Cheng
