Here comes Detroit musician Scott Junior, who is transforming emo hip-hop into therapeutic sessions for the rest of us. Scott’s most recent EP is a four-song EP called “Before You Care” and it was released on 3rd January. Let’s talk more about it

The first song on the EP is “detox”. The song opens with very cool piano sounds. The song talks about a character who causes commotion because of his honesty. The rap verses were tight and kept flowing so poetically and smoothly. This performance lets listeners know what they are going to hear and enjoy in this EP

The second song is called “tribe”. The melody at the beginning of the song has a very striking melody. This song talks about our village(a group of people we can rely on). One very exciting line was when he quoted a line from J Cole’s Power Trip (“even back when I was sleeping in my mama crib”). Like Coke he was talking about how he had come up, so does Scott in a very exciting manner

“Awake” is the title of the next song. The song features artist Doshes. The intro of this song is very calm and soothing. The song talks about being awake, alert, and self-aware. Like the other songs, Scott gives a fantastic performance and the rap was very top tier. Listeners will really love this track

The last song on the EP is “Missed Call”. The intro of the song is a dial tone mixed in with mouth percussion. The song lets listeners know a place they can go to when they are in a bad space This song is very poetic and hearing the rap in that space was amazing. This song gives listeners a very immersive experience because of the addition of the phone sounds.

This EP is more than simply a compilation of songs; it’s a survival manual for everyone who has ever felt lost. Scott is very talented and he gave listeners the very best music trip. Scott is very talented and he will rise to the very top!!!!
