BIOGRAPHY
Bow Wow is a rapper, TV host, actor, and broadcaster from the United States. Shad Gregory Moss is his real name, but he is better known by his stage name Bow Wow, formerly known as Lil’ Bow Wow. He published his first album, Beware of Dogs, at the age of 13 in the early months of the new century. His debut album was a great hit, and his following hit, Doggy Bag, was released in 2001. With his extraordinary rapping skills, which he possessed since the age of three, he attracted a large fan base of all ages. Bow Wow made his Hollywood debut in 2002 with a cameo in All About the Benjamins and an outstanding performance in the lead part in Like Mike.
Shad Gregory Moss, a Pisces, was born on March 9th, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Alfonso Preston Moss (Father) and Teresa Rena Caldwell were the parents of the famous rapper (Mother). Despite the fact that his biological father abandoned him and he never met him, he grew up with him. Later, his mother, who is also a hair stylist, married Rodney Caldwell, a practising lawyer from Houston. Bow Wow and his stepsisters Erica and Jasarah have a strong bond. He is of Afro-American ethnicity and holds the American nationality.
He began at the age of five and has never missed an opportunity to perform for friends or family. He made his debut with the album Beware of Dogs when he was only 13 years old. He hasn’t looked back since. Bow Wow claimed in one of his interviews that he has been rapping since he was a toddler. In a recent interview, he stated that becoming a father had drastically impacted his life. He enjoys spending his free time with his daughter, whom he describes as an angel in his life.
His rapping was acclaimed by the major rappers of the period when he first began out, which helped him reach for the stars. He has received numerous awards (gold and platinum), as well as being ranked in the Billboard Top 200 and Top 100 charts. The famous rapper has transformed into a fantastic actor, with roles such as Twinkie in 2006’s blockbuster film “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,” Gary in “Hurricane Season,” and so on. In 2001, he was cast in MTV’s “Carmen: A Hip-Hop Era,” alongside superstar Beyoncé, Wyclef Jean, and Mos Def.
