Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers, let’s welcome Angus Crowne and the family Jewels. Miami, Florida-based Angus Crowne, and the Family Jewels will return on January 16, with their much-awaited fifth, ten-song album, “Everybody Wants To See Me Happy. Let’s talk more about it

“Everyone wants to see me happy” is the first song of the album.. the song opens with a killer drum beat before guitar sounds are added in. The character in the song is talking about how everyone wants to see him happy so he tells them he’s happy so they get off his back because being grumpy is sad are also healthy emotions to feel. The vocal performance is amazing and the vocal performance is just chef’s kiss. This fantastic song opens the album

“Lullaby Blues Revisited” is the name of the next song. The song’s intro is a middle-tempo song. The song is a comic song where the vocal performance starts with the repetition of “fuck you”. This character in the song is really pissed off and is showing it off. There is a stringed instrument solo which was very beautiful however, the instrumentation picks up and the fuck yous are repeated rapidly

Up next is “It’s not easy”. The intro of this song is a little country-influenced. The song illustrates a persona who wants to do something for his lover because he knows it’s not easy for her to please him(“I know it’s not easy to please me”). There is a solo that made me try line dancing and I had a lot of fun with this song and so would you

The song that comes next is “It’s so nice to meet you”. The intro of the song is very upbeat but still a little country rock song. The song is about a character who is nice to have met. There is a little piano solo and a beautiful guitar solo in between the song that was another layer of awesome for the song

Up next is “Love Ditty”. This song opens with a slow tempo beat. The song illustrates a story about a character who has fallen deeply in love (“I love you, I love everything about”). This song is a beautiful love song and there is a guitar solo that will delight you

Next up is the song “Imagine”. The song opens with a dark drum and guitar intro. The song has an eerie vibe but it will draw you to it nonetheless.

“You and Me” is the next song on the album. The song begins with lovely ukulele sounds in the start. The persona in the song asks listeners to join him and his ukulele to sing a simple song. This invitation was an unexpected surprise that was refreshing because the song was indeed easy to follow and sing along and you can’t listen or sing along without cracking a smile we appreciated the jazz and jazz hands at the end of the song

“Happy Feet” is the next song on the album. This song has an upbeat and bright intro. The song invites listeners to join him to dance because he’s got happy feet(“I have happy feet”). This direction isn’t hard to follow because the song is incredibly foot tapping and it will delight you from the beginning to the end

Up next is “summer haze”. This song has a jazz-like sound, especially with the trumpet sounds in the beginning. The song describes a relationship that is very precious. The character remembers their first kiss and how they are meant to be, Throughout the song, the character mentions milestones they shared like the birth of their daughter. This is another declaration of love that is stunning. The trumpet solo was the icing on the cake

The last song on the album is called “Melody post mortem”. This song opens with a ukulele sound. The song is about a character who is trying to get to know another person and offers to buy her a drink. The song is very energetic and listeners will really love and was the perfect choice to end the album

Under the direction of the well-known musician and concert producer Angus Crowne, who is referred to as the “Godfather of Uke-Billy-Punk Rock,” the group has performed with legendary performers like Queen, Boy George, and Spacehog. Angus’s music, which reflects the unfiltered feelings and experiences of daily life, introduces a distinctive genre he called Uke-Billy Punk Rock. It is distinguished by a blend of delicate and forceful tones. An example of Angus Crowne’s musical development is “Everybody Wants To See Me Happy.” the group knocked this one out of the park and I can’t wait to hear more music from them
