Greetings to all my lovely readers and music fans, lets welcome artist Ahorasoyfelipe. Music has always been a part of this artist’s life. They started with Sin Futuro in 2001 and then released their debut album in 2009. As the years went by, the band stopped performing, but the songs continued to be heard. On 14th March, this artist released a ten-song album called “Radio Cebolla (vol 1). Let’s talk more about the album
The album opens with “Baliando en el cielo. The song opens with static noises you hear when you’re changing stations on the radio. The song has drum, trumpet, and guitar sounds. This song is in Spanish, but does It matter? No, because the beat just moves you. What a cheerful and vibrant way to open the album
Up next is the song called “Me Pierdo”. The intro of the song is stringed instruments, piano, and guitar sounds. The song is very colorful but it is not overwhelming because every instrument is given its chance to shine and it doesn’t just all come at you at once. The vocal performance is stunning and even though it’s in Spanish, you will still have a good time
“En tus brazos” is the name of the next song. The energy that greets you when this song starts is unmatched. It does change melody and tempo but it is very entertaining. This song makes you want to grab anyone at all to dance and dance and dance
Next is the song “Ahora lo tengo claro”. This song is on the slow side in terms of instrumentation. Even though I didn’t understand the words, I was still moved by the instrumentation, and the vocal performance alone was so emotive. I cried a little because I was really touched by this song
“Hoy brindo” is the next song on the album. This song opens with a very vibrant vibe and it takes us to another melody. This song is very delightful and it takes you to a sonically charged environment
Next is the song “Solo”. The song opens with a nice guitar strum. The song is beautiful and very stunning. You can tell how much work went into making it. Such talent and passion!
Next is “no me render”. The song opens with someone who seems to be a commentator. The melody of the song has traces of synth-pop in it. It is very fast-paced but you will enjoy every single part of this unforgettable experience
“Esta bien” is the song that follows. This song opens with a man who seems to be commentating about a football match before the song starts
“Cadenas” is the next song on the record. This song is very upbeat and exciting. You will jump up and down to the beat as I did
The last song on the album is “BLMD”. The trumpets that open the song are so amazing. I felt like I was being serenaded by a mariachi band and I smiled from the beginning to the end of the song because it was so breathtaking and I am just so speechless. The album opened gracefully and this song ended it gracefully
This album to Isba nods to vintage Latin American radio, combining pop, cumbia, and onion music with a sentimental production that evokes the coziness of 1980s and 1990s radio shows. By using radio effects, jingles, and interludes to create an immersive story, this album not only brings back the sound of that era but also reinvents it, giving the listener the impression that they are tuning into a station from the past. Ahorasoyfelipe is a superstar and he’s going places!
