Kelsie confessed that she read the book “Perfume” in high school and saw the movie that accompanied it. It told the story of a young guy in Paris who became drunk by the perfumes that the women in the city wore. (“Boy you know you’re doomed by my sweet perfume “)This book served as the inspiration for her song, which is uplifting and about how love, like perfume, can be so enigmatically alluring rather than taking the dark path that the book describes. “My metaphor for love is perfume. Like the proper love, the appropriate perfume is so potent that it doesn’t require words”, Kelsie added.

Liam Noland ( who worked with Adele) mixed “Perfume,” while Stuart Hawkes (who worked with Amy Winehouse) was the mastermind behind this amazing song, but Kelsie worked hard a very hard, and gave a wonderful performance
