Greetings dearest gentle readers and music lovers. Let’s welcome German artist Rapid Onset. The “solo band” of singer and songwriter Kiri Anne Ryan Bereznai is called The Rapid Onset. On 17th January, she released a song called “Pretty/fragile”. Let’s talk more about this song
The song opens with explosive instrumentation which beckons listeners to listen to the song to completion
The song describes a character who talks about how is pretty and loves to dance(“I’m so pretty, pretty fragile”). The song talks about how this powerful woman is also fragile. The contrast of the lyrics and the meaning of the song. It proves that people are more than one thing
Kiri’s infectious melodies and theatrical wails are accentuated by the song’s lively, bendy riff, which is a far cry from the bored, mumbling effect of many contemporary pop and rock frontwomen. Her love for Diamond Dave’s vocal pyrotechnics is evident in her wailing vocalizations, which are as emotionally charged as her most meticulously composed lines. The bands with two guitars or those in which everyone sings have always been my favorites. Even though she is the only one in The Rapid Onset, the melody is really significant to her.
Each instrument contributes a unique set of rhythms and harmonies that give the song a grandiose, dramatic sense. Like the classic Van Halen records, she devised a guitar and amp setup for each “guitarist” in the group, one panned left and the other right, with a reverb channel for each panned to the opposite side. In order to give the performances a more humanized, live-on-the-floor vibe.
The song was fun and exciting. Listeners are in for a wild ride with this one. Her music is a game-changer and she is insanely talented I can’t wait to hear more music from her
