AWAITING ABIGAIL EMPOWERS LISTENERS TO OVERCOME AND FACE OUR MENTAL ILLNESS IN THEIR SONG “BAD MIND”

No Comments Review

Greetings dearest readers and music lovers, let’s welcome the US band Awaiting Abigail. The band is made up of Abigail Hill on vocals, James Smith on guitars, Mike Tolfa also on guitars, Kori Tolfa on keys, Laurie Barnett on bass, and Heather Hammonds on drums. On 1st December, they released a song called “Bad Mind”. Let’s talk more about it

This is a rock song and that is exactly what listeners will be introduced to, right from the very beginning

This song illustrates a character who is battling mental and overcoming it(“I’m not okay”). In the song, the character lets listeners know that she is in a bad place and needs help. The character lets us know that sometimes we need to be empathic towards others because some of them are in a bad place but put up a front that he or she is okay. The song also encourages listeners to face their problems head-on and just take it one step at a time

This song carries all the markings of a rock song. The way the song was made makes listeners know that they can overcome anything. There is a guitar solo mid-song that is incredibly awesome

This is not just a song, listeners are empowered to know that they can overcome anything and that we should not be afraid because if we do the work, things will get better. We thank the band for sharing this sensitive topic in a lighthearted way. Awaiting Abigail brought their A game on this song and they are on their way to the top
