The song has a short piano intro and then Kelsie begins to sing so beautifully. Kelsie wanted to give a voice to people in a relationship who keep giving second chances to people who hurt them. According to studies, it takes women in a bad situation seven tries for them to come to a point where they walk away. Kimberlin wanted to connect with those in this situation and have the confidence to ultimately just walk away because too many individuals are trapped in violent relationships for a variety of reasons. “Life is far too brief and valuable to be subjected to negativity and control,” Kelsie remarks.
